Floor Coverings for Historic Buildings The National Trust for Historic Preservation guide to reproduction floor coverings in the marketplace today. Winkler’s essays on the history of floor coverings used in American buildings are particularly valuable. Floor Coverings for Historic Buildings won an Award for Excellence in the 1989 Southern Books Competition sponsored by the Southeastern Library Association.
